Loved this game and the first Kyrandia 1 as a kid. Definitely brings back fuzzy memories. Awesome to play now on the DOS emulator Boxer on Mac and be able to use the Roland MT-32 for way better MIDI quality. Wish I had known about the MT-32 and MPU-401 as a kid so I could of asked for it for Christmas, haha.

This was my favorite game when I was a kid, I was obsessed with it! Still love it and play from time to time. One of the best point-and-click games imo!

Hand of Fate 2 is an action, role-playing video game released on 7 November 2017 by Defiant Development. It can be played on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, OS X , Lynux and fortunately now on MacBooks and iMacs.
The idea of the game it is based on the first game, but it also includes a lot of changes and improvements. First of all, you will find yourself playing a kind of a board game but in a video format, and after you will be surrounded by a hole new surrounding and actions which you can play. This games new tricks are: dice games, a spinning wheel of cards, and a swinging pendulum that you must stop at an exact and specific moment.
Furthermore, there are new companion characters which travel along with the player during a challenge, influencing outcomes at the game table as well as on the battlefields. Also, you will meet Colbjorn, who can influence dice rolls or add a forth die to the mix, but this move will cost him getting out of the game for three turns.The game features new weapons such as dual daggers or two-handed hammers that have a huge impact on certain characters.
